How to connect LP to Roon?
I have tinnitus and hyperacusis and want to equalise my LP player, any advice?
Or should I use a different preamplifier?

You can start tinkering around with your Roon installation if you want to:
Note: There is currently no supported input device / way to do what you asked for in Roon, so posting such questions in Support is the wrong way. Better post general Questions in Roon Software Discussion.
Roon currently is not designed for that specific use-case, hence the need for a community extension (and potentially additional hardware too). Please ask yourself if Roon is really the pre-amp/EQ you want to always use when you want to listen to an LP or if a standalone (phono)pre-amp/EQ that is independent of a software system like Roon, Plex or the likes isn’t better suited for you? If you need advice on standalone devices, please search the forum for preexisting threads or post the question in a suitable category of the forum like Audio Gear Talk.
Hi @Urban_Karlsson,
Since your post is an inquiry more than a support issue, I’ve moved it to a subcategory where users are more likely to see/respond.
You can use @DrCWO ’s rooPlay software to play an input to a roon endpoint (as a local radio station).
You then need to get your turntable connected to a suitable RIAA phono stage and an A2D converter to get into rooPlay.
This is commercial software- there are some other options.
You can also convert your LP’s to digital with an A2D converter and appropriate software. Store the ripped files in a directory folder and point Roon at that library. I haven’t done this for my whole LP connection because it is time consuming, but I have done it for some of my favorite albums for which there is no digital file version available commercially.
Are you determined to use your turntable? A subscription to Tidal or Qobuz would likely provide digital versions of most if not all of your albums. Just a thought.
Also a Schiit Loki or Lokius is an inexpensive way to EQ your turntable.
