Ethernet router (Fiber connection), with Asus 3 wifi router mesh set-up. Roon nucleus connected to the main router via ethernet cable. LUMIN streamer connected to one of the mesh routers via ethernet cable

Lumin streamer connected to mesh wifi router via ethernet cable

Description of Issue

Lumin streamer doesn’t show up in roon in the current configuration. When I shift roon nucleus to where my streamer sits, and connect it to the same wifi mesh router, then I can see Lumin in the roon list. But when Roon nucleus is connected to the main ethernet bridge, or another wifi mesh router, then i can’t seen LUMIN in the roon server. How do I fix this? I’m unable to keep the confirmation where Nucleus and Lumin are connected to the same Mesh wifi router.

It sounds as though you have different subnets set up for your wifi mesh routers. Roon needs everything to be in the same subnet…

Not sure. I moved nucleus connection from main bridge to one of the mesh router and it worked this time. Previously this hadn’t worked
