This is normal behavior. The important thing for you is that the USB +5V is off. The light (which represents the OpenHome standby state) does not matter. It has always behaved like this for Lumin series since 2012, since no other model has a light. Now that you mentioned it, I’d need to discuss this with the team to see if a design change is suitable or not.

Spotify Lossless is 24bit/44.1kHz - flac on the computer and iphone. But, with my U2 Mini, I’m only getting 16bit/44.1kHz - flac. I’ve disabled Spotify connect, and renabled it, restarted it, it’s still streaming across at 16bit/44.1kHz. - Am doing something wrong? Or is there something else that I need to do. It’s running firmware 21.0, no volume control, no audio normalization, no resampling. Qobuz streams all and so does roon. It’s not an issue, just curious regarding it.
Anyone else with a U2 mini & spotify seeing the same thing? or its fine at your end. thanks
Soon we will have an update to U2-series, P1MINI, T3X, T3, D3 for 24-bit Spotify. The other models will remain at 16 bit.
There are very few 24-bit tracks from Spotify.

Lumin Firmware 21.1 supports 24-bit Spotify Lossless for U2-series P1MINI T3X T3 D3.
Older CPU may not get 24-bit unless Spotify helps with custom SDK.

In Firmware 15.3 you did an improvement for Spotify (not lossless) is this valid for lossless also or do you need to do some adjustment? I’m asking because as for now Spotify lossless don’s sound as good as the same releases on Qobuz in my system (44.1./16). Spotify lossless is just released so the question is if this is good as it gets on Lumin or can we expect some improvement in fw in the future?
Please make sure Spotify Audio Normalization is disabled. It is already proven bit perfect, if your track sounds better from Qobuz please keep Qobuz.

iPhone to p1 mini Spotify when play stops the blue light remains on and usb voltage is off
Roon still shows the Lumin is on and turning off via the volume icon does drop to red led with I think a relay click in the p1 mini.
I have changed this behavior already - are you running the latest Firmware 21.1 released last Friday?

I canceled my subscription to Spotify (expired 2 days ago) after your last replay, and some more testing. Can explain what is changed with the new firmware? Think I will just use Qobuz and my Lumin in roononly mode for now.
