Is clear what the problem is/was and what is the fix?
No fix yet.
Yikes
I only just saw this thread and I ordered a T2 on Sunday!
Hope I do not suffer anything similar.
Hope you get yours fixed pretty soon and when you do please let us know the fix.
Good luck.
Have faith Kevin, Iāve been using T2 for ~1yr and very happy with it. Connected to a McIntosh C50 preamp and it sounds great and VERY stable and reliable. However, I did need to set the Analog Output Level to Low as @wklie advises.
Thank you Brian.
Yes I will try to remember the analog output level setting.
Now just waiting for it to arrive!
Well I just got the T2 setup this morning, actually found I do not need the Lumin app at all even for setup unless there is something in there I may have missed?
It found my network, Roon found it and I had music within a minute of power up!
Very audible changes when I switched from its native 44/16 Qobuz playback, first by Roon upsample to 384 then switching to DSD256 which is my favourite so far.
All with just 20 minutes on itā¦lol.
Its going to be great weekend!
Only for first time setup and firmware upgrade.
Did you try DSD512? If yes, that means you prefer DSD256 to DSD512.
My core really canāt handle 512, at 256 it is down to 1.7 to 1.8x.
Itās only a nuc7i3.
And I did not see any initial setup?
By time I had started the Lumin app it was already connected and seen as a Roon endpoint?
I see, you cannot do DSD512 with it. But never mind, if it should not be too different anyway.
I mean manually go into Lumin app and change the settings, perhaps disable Lumin Streaming (AirPlay) and Spotify Connect if you donāt use these.
Well the T2 is really coming to me now.
Got about 10 hours on it and itās warming up nicely.
The bottom end has tightened up considerably, very solid and taut.
The top end has opened up very nicely, a lot of detail emerging that was veiled to start with.
I was rightā¦it was a very good weekend indeed!
Cool, enjoy.
I was surprised after 350 hours of burn in it still had something more to give.
