Describe the issue

I just started my 14 day trial period and I installed Roon on my MacBook as the server. I could see my Lumin U1 Mini in Roon during the initial setup, and I selected it as one of my outputs. But, when I play music, my MacBook is the default output device and I do not see my Lumin U1 mini as a selection in the Settings > Audio. I enabled Roon in the Lumin app. I have restarted both the Lumin and Roon, and the Lumin is still not shown as a selectable output. What should I try next?

Describe your network setup

Xfinity router. The Lumin is connected via ethernet cable and my MacBook is on WiFi.

Hello @Randy_Dirilo,

Thank you for reaching Roon support, we are glad to see again.

Can you please navigate to macOS System Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network , and make sure Roon is allowed. If it is already enabled, toggle it off and on again. Then reboot your Mac, and see if the same issue persists.

Kind regards,
Vadim

Thanks Vadim, that worked. I am now enjoying Roon on my Lumin!
