Luxman DA-07x Problem

Hi. I recently added a Luxman DA–07x as a DAC to my Roon Nucleus. Roon seems to have added it as a server rather than a DAC (see screenshots).

I have all the latest software versions. I cannot remove the unwanted server ans just add the DAC.
I do hope someone can help with this.

If you plugged the Luxman into your Nucleus, what it’s showing is the devices connected to your Roon Server. That would be correct.

Hi @Paul_Ryan,

We’ve taken a look at diagnostics and confirmed that the Nucleus is the only RoonServer instanced associated with your account.

What you’re seeing in the audios settings page is the DAC being managed directly by the ALSA class-compliant driver within the Nucleus.

Please let us know if we can help further!

It sees the DAC but seems to be treating it as another Nucleus rather than a DAC. The Nucleus is named Zeke and the DAC is names Zebra.
With my previous DAC the icon was a DAC icon with the DAC name and sat next to the Nucleus icon. Here I just have a single icon showing

Hello @Paul_Ryan ,

I am looking over your account diagnostics and I can see that the zeke zone is your Nucleus HDMI and the zebra is the Luxman. You had another Windows 11 PC that was also called ZEKE, perhaps that is what is causing the confusion? You can see the name of the Nucleus in Roon Settings → Setup → Roon Server name.

Thanks all for the guidance. It seems that my previous DAC was displayed in the footer but my new DAC was not. If I now select on the lone icon in the footer and set it to zebra all is well so hence the confusion :face_with_raised_eyebrow: so please close this query.
