Describe the issue
Mac mini cannot find devices after updated to ISO sequioa 15
Describe your network setup
mac mini as roon core. After updated to new OS Sequioa 15, all devices are not found
Sequoia has some significant problems with its revamped internal firewall in Sequoia which has been the topic of widespread reports in the tech media (link attached). I do not have Roon installed on my mac at this time however experienced playback termination, followed by disappearance of local network playback devices with other playback software. I did have Roon installed during the beta 8 and RC testing and experienced the same issues, sent a bug report to Apple as did many others but it seems to have remained unresolved.
If you have the mac OS internal firewall turned on (system setting/network/firewall) I would consider turning it off if you have another firewall available to use (I use Intego Net Barrier as a firewall and this works fine). This has, fingers crossed, resolved the issue for me.
To get local network devices to reappear in your music player, check if Roon has its apps registered in system settings/privacy&security/local network, cycle the toggles off and on - this instantly restored access to devices on my software.

Several people reported a device discovery problem with Sequoia. Check macOS System Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network, make sure Roon is allowed. If it is already enabled, toggle it off and on again. Then reboot the Mac. Seems to help most people.
Seems that the Sequoia update reset this for some people (not for me though).
Thanks for the replies. Now I change my core to the other window based PC, which is no problem at all on finding devices.
I do check the firewall on the new Sequoia according the suggestions above. Still not working. I will use window based PC as core until I found the solution.
