Mac mini constantly crashes

Hello @support,

Installed a trial, loved it on my iMac. Then decided to install it on a headless mini. Installed the server. Then decided to change to not using the server because I wanted IR transport. Uninstalled. Then hell broke loose.

I cannot install again in any of the machines. It starts, asks for logon, and then when asking for music folder crashes in about 10 seconds.

I have deleted all I see on Library, reinstalled the app. Nothing. Everything worked perfectly on the first install.

Not a nice way to start a relationship. Will give it some time if you guys can help.

Mac mini El Capitan 10.11.6
iMac pro High Sierra 10.13.5

Thanks.

Update: Installed on a third Mac. Crashes. Seems like something on the response from my account info crashes the whole thing.

Think I’ll stop using buggy software and return to Audirvana.

Roon is extremely solid - certain not buggy software.

I run the core/server on an old iMac (2011 version) and have no problems whatsoever.

I am sure someone form support will get back to you for help, but Roon is a really excellent product without any peers. My advice is to be a bit patient and get your issue sorted.

Finally got the setup to work . Apparently something was on the network discovery that crashed EVERY instance of server or Roon. The initial instalation ( iMac pro ) had never been rebooted. When I rebooted no more crashes.

This made me go mad a whole Saturday. I even installed a version on a Windows machine that crashed exactly the same way.

Nice geek day. If only I could have used it to listen to music.
