Mac Mini Core keeps quitting

Description of Issue

Core quits repeatedly. Only when idle, never while in use. Mini core set to stay on all the time: all Mac services, Time Machine etc, are off. Started doing this a few weeks ago.

Thank you for your patience in awaiting a response.

This is definitely an odd issue. There are only two possibilities I can think of. Something isn’t right in the power saver settings (I know you touched on this), or some form of corruption in the application.

Is this how your setup looks?

For the corruption angle, here are the steps to reinstall fresh and (while I don’t think this is the problem) eliminate DB issues at the same time.

• Create a Backup of your current database
• Exit out of Roon
• Navigate to your Roon Database Location
• Find the folder that says “Roon”
• Rename the “Roon” folder to “Roon_old”
• Reinstall the Roon App from our Downloads Page to generate a new Roon folder
• Verify if the issue persists on a fresh database before restoring the backup
