Mac Mini/Luna Display - question

I’m thinking of getting a Mac Mini with a Luna Display dongle, so that I can set up the Mini in headless mode and be controlled by my iPad through which I would feed Roon and all non-Roon streaming services to my audio system.

Has anyone used this approach? One key concern I have is whether I can set up the Mac Mini to always be awake so I can a seamless performance via my iPad.

Any thoughts would be appreciated - thanks!

I am using a Mac Mini M1 headless, no keyboard/mouse/monitor attached. I use VNC viewer to control it remote. The Mac Mini is always awake. You don’t need the Luna Display Dongle!
