Mac Mini slows down after starting RoonServer

Hi there,
Is there a way to run RoonServer on a MacMini (late 2014, all necessary requirements for Roon) without the Mac slowing down? Doing normal work on it becomes really cumbersome with RoonServer running at the same time.

I am not aware of any setting that could minimize Roon’s activity, other than “Off”.

You might think about a single-purpose server, budget allowing.

I gave up on my 2014 Mini. It just wasn’t up to the task.

i3 NUC.

Currently, I have ROCK on it, but it was satisfactory with WIN10.
