Get 'Waiting for Roon Server' when restarting Mac (M2 Mac Mini) after updating to 26.4. Option 'Start Roon Server' its shown, but server is running.
Tried all suggestions for resolving this problem: downloading current Roon and re-installing, checking network permissions and toggling, restarting computer; problem persists.
Attached screen shot shows first message when attempting to start roon app on the same computer running server. Symptom has changed: now just getting the 'jiggling' icon.

· Synology router, using wired ethernet for all network connections: primarily Cambridge CXN100.
Roon server running on M2 Mac Mini, gui connection via app running on same computer, Roon remote running on M4 iPad Air with iPadOs 24.6 (if doesn't connect to the server either--connection over Wi-Fi).
If you shutdown and restart do you see the option to select a different Roon Server.
If so, please try clicking that and then when it presents a list select “This Mac” again.
Just for due diligence, do you have any VPNs or antivirus software installed on this Mac?
If not, then do you have a recent, reliable Backup of your Roon library? If so, try the following steps. Only proceed if you have a Backup, as this will factory-reset your library.
First, force RoonServer to close from the MacOS Activity Monitior in Applications → Utilities.
No, once the ‘connect’ option appears, I’m then taken to a screen and asked to login or start a free trial. Logging in gets me the jiggling icon. Selecting the go back option on the screen gets me to the connect screen. And around it goes.
Right after a restart, and starting Roon, there is a brief flash of the cannot find server screen, but that gives way to the connect screen.
As an FYI, Roon was running successfully before installing the MacOS 26.4 update (from 26.3), which I did this morning. The restart from that process is when this all started.
When I started it, I was informed that I had, basically. 2 server authorizations when I was allowed only 1. I ‘unauthorized’ the entry in the list, and, I connected to the server.
