Mac Mini used as Control will not launch update

Core Machine (Operating system/System info/Roon build number)

Core is NucleusPlus running Roon 1.7 build 511

Network Details (Including networking gear model/manufacturer and if on WiFi/Ethernet)

Connected via Ethernet

Audio Devices (Specify what device you’re using and its connection type - USB/HDMI/etc.)

Output is to Ayre QB-9.

Description Of Issue

Mac Mini is used as a control unit to display UI on large monitor in family room. It is a few weeks old and has all updates - running Catalina 10.15.2.

Roon is telling me that it needs to be updated on the Mac.

It downloads the update, but when I launch it Roon crashes on the Mac and nothing happens. Roon continues to play on the Core unit.

Can you try reinstalling the app on Mac from our downloads page and let me know if that helps?

If you’re still seeing issues, can you let me know if the same behavior occurs with a different remote device?
