Mac Mini with Direct Attached Storage on Nuc One?

Hello …
Like to replace Mac Mini with Nucleus One…
Presently …I have a Promise Pegasus R6 DAS into a Mac Min (thunderbolt → USB-C)

https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1013100-REG/promise_technology_p2r6hd12us_promise_pegasus2_r_6_bay_6x2tb_t_bolt2.html

it is formatted in RAID 6 for Apple … I have 12TB of music on 4 Partitions
With the nucleus recognize it ?

Thanks very much ~!

I wouldn’t even try. If the DAS from the past works for you on a MAC and serves a purpose, then keep it there. Use it to hold a/the backups of important stuff like for example your digital music library. You can easily get single USB drives with 12TB and more capacity nowadays (that will also need only the power of a single drive instead of 6 drives). There is also a manual for the Nucleus:

No Thunderbolt 2 connector, just read-only support for HFS+, unclear if the RAID in that thing would be detected – if there were a way to connect it, that is.

Thank you Blackjack… the DAS it’s certainty being used as a multi purpose platform

Back up for 3 servers … movies and photos…

The Roon on Mac has worked well … but hoping to integrate a dedicated footprint …

Thanks again for your response
