We reviewed the diagnostic report from your Roon Server and can see that while other Roon Remote devices are connecting successfully, the connection from your Mac is being refused. This indicates the issue is likely on the Mac side (often related to permissions or the firewall).
To resolve this, please follow these steps:
Delete Roon: Remove the current Roon application from your Mac.
Reinstall: Download and reinstall the latest version from here:
https://roon.app/en/downloads
Check Local Network Access: Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network. Ensure that Roon is toggled ON. If it is already enabled, please toggle it off and then back on to refresh the permission.
Retoggling Local Network access in the MacOS System Settings → Privacy & Security dialog page will resolve this issue in most cases.
MacOS Sequoia and above have built-in, draconian local network security that tends to sever Roon’s connection to the network interface. This can render RoonServer, network storage, and even Roon Remotes invisible on the network when you’re using MacOS.
The latest diagnostics indicate that RoonServer has been online a few times since you last posted. Are we correct in our assumption that this issue is resolved? Please let us know if we can assit further; this thread will shortly auto-close without any new responses from you.
This thread is now auto-closing, but you can reactivate it anytime if you require additional troubleshooting by submitting a support request here. Thanks and happy listening!
