Roon correctly made the decision to not diddle with user files except to delete them with several warnings.
Please extend that logic to user edits. I’ve learned, e.g., that if you are starting with an un-IDed album, you should Fix Track Grouping first if you’re ever going to, because when you do, Roon eliminates all other edits made to that point. Same thing for approving or un-identifying an identified album. However, if you make the same changes after the IDing, it will keep user edits. [I am inferring a bit; fact is that Roon eliminates **some** user edits, all the ones I cared about.]
All user edit jettisons should come with a warning and perhaps an option to overwrite or merge.
And when exporting albums afterwards, include edits in the file tags.
