Roon monitors library folders and will automatically scan for changes when it recieves a notification from the OS. If this doean’t work for you, and you are using local storage, open a support request.
Automatic scans may not work immediately for network shares (because the changes aren’t broadcast immediately over the network.) This is why there is a force rescan option for each library folder.
You missed the point. I know network shares don’t refresh so hence the refresh intervals. I want a button to manually trigger a refresh on all storages. I have about 40 folders and it is silly to go through every one.
