I’m not sure this post is helpful or, actually, relevant for every router / ISP.
What is your router / ISP and can you share your “anyone can” configuration with the masses? That would be more helpful.
I live in Canada. My ISP is Bell Fibe and I use an (ancient) DSL modem/router called the Home Hub 2000 that they provide as part of the subscription.
I’m not at home right now, but after logging in to the user interface at the modem’s IP address, the steps seemed pretty self explanatory, along with the instructions given in the ARC FAQ. I am happy to try help anyone out who has a similar set up.
