Many images missing after unplugging system

Wow, I have no memory of every going into backup settings, and I’ve had Roon for less than a year. But gremlins didn’t do it; I must have.

Thousand thanks,
DB

I take that back: I’ve been a Rooner for 1 year, 2 days.

Hi xxx,
Will support respond in this string?
Thanks again,
DB

Yes, @support will engage in this thread. No need to create a new one.

Hi Daniel,
Just wondering when support will address this. There’s no urgency, just curious.
Thanks,
DB

Hi David,

I will ping @support again. A new version has just come out. Have you updated to it? The update might cure your issue.

Also, you might try a reboot of your network, like your router, not just the transporter.

Thanks, Daniel. I’ve Roon 1.8 build 923. I rebooted the router, but no change.

Hello @David_Bollinger ,

Am I correct in understanding that the issue only occurs on your Windows PC? Can you please try to reinstall Roon on the PC if this is the case and see if that helps?

  • Create a Backup of your current database
  • Exit out of Roon
  • Navigate to your Roon Database Location (on the PC)
  • Find the folder that says “Roon”
  • Rename the “Roon” folder to “Roon_old”
  • Reinstall the Roon App from our Downloads Page to generate a new Roon folder
  • Connect to existing SonicTransporter Core

Hi noris,
Thanks for the response. Exactly, problem is only on the Windows laptop. I already deleted & reinstalled Roon once, to no avail.
I will go through your steps above and let you know what happens.
David

Success! Thanks, noris. All the missing images are restored. I will keep a copy of your instructions.
So, should I delete folder Roon_old or should it be retained?

With gratitude,
David

If everything is working as expected you can delete ‘Roon_old’.
