Describe the issue

This link shows that the Marantz AV10 is roon ready. But people with this surround sound processor says that it is only roon tested. Why would roon be saying this if it is not correct?
Reason I am trying to get clarification is that I would like to purchase a Marantz AV10.

Hey @Gary_Cardinale,

Thanks for reaching out! We understand how this could be a bit confusing. We’re currently working with Marantz to finalize a few remaining Roon Ready details before everything is fully set up. It shouldn’t take much time, thank you for your patience in the meantime!

Benjamin, Thanks for reaching out. I am encouraged that you are very close to finalizing this. Sounds like it should be safe at this point to buy an AV10 and use it as a Roon ready device. Great news!

Really appreciate your comment. But wouldn’t it be more transparent, open and clear to show at least some “* In progress” as a note? As you can see people take your roon ready list as a fact, may have already invested in such a device only to discover later it actually is not (yet) roon ready. And we know it can take months to finally have roon/RAAT on board.
Such a list is for sure also marketing. But it should at least stay close to the facts, IMHO.
