‘Marantz MMM stream’ seems to use discreet custom designed 1-bit DAC. I wondered it is a true 1-bit or multi-level sigma delta design? The player has built-in custom designed DSP which convert PCM to DSD256 on the fly.
Interestingly this player will able playback Hi-Res contents both PCM and DSD on a burned DVD disc. It will appeal those who love to use disc as their primary source of playback.
This is most versatile player to date. Well design.
