I went to school in Aston. We had the brown sauce factory one side and ansells brewery the other. It didn’t matter which way the wind blew it stank.

Haha it wasn’t the worst thing about Aston in the 80s. Handsworth was rioting at the time too…

Never heard of it. What’s it taste like?

Great on toast

You are just sooooo lucky Jim.
Just keep it that way.
Saves you having to try and pull your stomach out through your throat

Maybe if I move to GB, I will avoid it.

It’s bovril that I don’t really like.

One of the absolute best breakfasts: two slices of toast and marmite, topped with poached eggs and a sprinkling of black pepper.

Wash your mouth out with soap and water Gary.

A winter football (soccer for our US friends ) with a hot cup of Bovril is magic. Absolutely love it :+1:

It really is about time this forum had a dislike button too instead of just a .

Next people will be saying they actually enjoyed eating the turnips and parsnips their mothers added to the mash to try and get you to eat your veggies

I’ve never tried it either. :man_shrugging:

It seems like it’s love it or hate it with no in between.

I actually like turnip greens with lots of vinegar.

It’s like Guinness - divides opinion. You are either man enough or not.
