Would you consider to create a button in the “matching” window that matches tracks based on file length please ?
I’ve been doing some cleanup and identification work today, When identifying classical tracks in box sets, it happens that you have to touch almost every track.
While doing this, it occurred to me that I do this mostly on track lengths. Even then, occasional differences in length from max three seconds occur quite often.
I’ve got a lot of my LP’s ripped to FLAC. And the inaccuracies of that process, along with minor variations in playback speed, appear to cause matching to not match. Roon does an amazing job on identifying the album. But many individual songs (with the same name, but differ in length by a few seconds) do not match and require manual intervention.
