Hello, I am wondering if it’s possible to have the Roon software apply upsampling either as PCM or DSD automatically, depending on the music file type. Right now in Roon offers a Max PCM Rate, but it converts my DSD files into PCM and upscales to the PCM rate. As a result I have to manually apply a Custom Sample Rate Conversion based on the PCM and DSD rate (in this case by the power of 2 [eg. x2, x4, etc.]). Unfortunately the Roon ARC software does not have a Custom option, so I’m either left with Max PCM Rate or For Compatibility Only.
Not sure if there is a general Max Rate upsampling option already or if this could be developed in future Roon software releases, that would be great! All else, I do enjoy Roon and hopefully this feature can be added (if it’s not already).
