Roon seems to think that Maxwell Street Jimmy Davis (a blues guy with too many names) is the same composer as Jimmy Davis (one of the guys who wrote “Lover Man”). I see this happening in places on AllMusic.com, where MSJD is also conflated with Jimmie Davis (a country guy who wrote “You Are My Sunshine”).
