I select both of them and in the Merge screen it shows some duplicate tracks that I remove. The result should be one album with 10 tracks
Roon still shows two albums in Album view. I have tried this multiple times. I have even restarted my core and nothing works
Is the blue button in the lower right corner of the screen stating that you can merge 1 album with 10 tracks and do you use that button? (I also thought that the merge wasn’t working…)
Seeing some strangeness here. Just opened the first album and this is what I see. Notice there are tracks like People Are Strange that show 3 instances
Or copy the data to another (not Roon music store) location. Remove the albums from the Roon library (with files as asked) - clean the Roon library (via Settings - Library - Clean Library) and then move the data back onto the music store location and force a rescan (Settings - Storage - rescan)
it works OK here, just merged an album with songs with mixed track formats. Could be your metadata, related to iTunes, not sure about that though; great that you sorted it out for now.
yes, Roon uses the metadata if the specific information is not available in the Roon database. You can see which data is used in the metadata and edit sections of each album.
