Prior to updating there were no duplicate Artists showing in the Artist view. I updated to 1.6, now it shows many duplicate Artists. I tried Merge Artist, but it doesn’t work. Here’s one example
Same problem. Merge screen pops up, asking for Primary Artist. Strangely both Artist No Albums, No Compositions are the same
I had this exact issue a few weeks ago (with 1.5) and found it could be resolved by simply re-Identify-ing one of the albums of the affected artist.
I’ll give that a try.
Edit: It worked for some artists, but not for others.

The Roon folks said they were able to reproduce the issue, so here’s hoping a fix will come in the near future.
Out of curiosity, today I tried merging artists again and now it works. I have no clue why it didn’t work before, but now it’s working (nothing has changed in my system or settings).
For others with this issue, does this issue come and go for you, or does it not work at all?
