Merging "WORK" tag to Roon composition

When editing a multi-part work (therefore specifying the composition title from file) you lose the link to Roon’s composition page. The workaround I’m currently using is to add the album from Tidal to my library, then merge both and delete Tidal’s entry. This is not very clean. Is there any other way to do so?

I would also like to know how to achieve that.

As far as I know Roon treats Work and Composition equally , and Part and Movement .

In the albums you have issue with are they ID’ed in Roon , if not that will cause a “link fail” on the Composition. For example is there a Compostion Count icon on the ones in question that’s a good indicator

Maybe post a screenshot of an example album

It’s not an issue I have come across and I have reasonably large classical library

Thank you for your reply.

I actually realised that the title you give to WORK has to be exactly identical to the title of composition. That way your edited album is linked to Roon composition. As simple as that.

Yep. Not just approximately identical.

[Sorry; couldn’t help myself  ]
