I received my Meridian ellipse today, and wanted to test some music using Roon (RAAT), but it lists the speaker as uncertified and I’m unable to activate it. What next? When can I use this device with Roon?

The Meridian web site lists the Ellipse as being Roon Ready, but the Roon site does not list it as being Roon Ready. So it look like it is, in fact, not Roon Ready so RAAT won’t work, but maybe the evaluation is still in progress.
As a work around it looks like you can connect to the Ellipse with a USB cable. Of course you would have to be near enough to your Roon server for that to work.
It supports Airplay and Google Cast, so these can be used over a network connection to the Ellipse as well.
I suspect that Meridian have jumped the gun, and that certification by Roon Labs is still in progress.
Yes, AirPlay is working. Looks like the certification is not completed indeed…
