As a troubleshooting step, have you tried clicking on … ?

Select a different Roon Server

Hi @rudy_myers,

To build on Carl’s suggestion:
Sometimes the Remote app just needs a “nudge” to re-establish the handshake. Clicking “Select a different Roon Server” on the “Waiting…” screen often reveals your Mac as “Online” in the list and allows you to reconnect immediately.

If that doesn’t work, please ensure you have fully restarted the background service (closing the window is not enough):

Go to the macOS Menu Bar (top right, near the clock).

Click the small Roon icon.

Select Quit Roon Server.

Start the Roon app again.

Let us know if either of these steps resolves the “Waiting” screen.
