Metadata Improver Halted - Roon Needs Software Update

Core Machine (Operating system/System info/Roon build number)
Sonictransporter 2.7, Roon version 1.7 build 528

Network Details (Including networking gear model/manufacturer and if on WiFi/Ethernet)
Netgear Nighthawk AX112

Audio Devices (Specify what device you’re using and its connection type - USB/HDMI/etc.)
Mytek Brooklyn, USB to windows 10 PC. Synology NAS, Node 2i, KEF LSXs, Sonos

Description Of Issue
I’ve seen this topic in several places regarding my error.

My update just spins and spins and I get the "metadata improver…"message I posted in the topic.

I’ve rebooted everything several times, logged out of Qobuz, logged back in, restarted and rebooted and nothing changes.

Please advise.

Is there any change in behavior if you first create a Backup of your Roon database and then reinstall the Roon app via the SonicTransporter WebUI (sonicorbiter.com)?

I’ll try that.

I restarted everything again, including the Roon server in the Sonicorbiter management app. While I previously rebooted, I did not “stop” the server and then “restart” it. And this seems to have done the trick. All good now.
