Metadata match heuristics

Roon imported my library of about 1700 albums. It’s quite impressive what it can identify. Still, inevitable, a lot is not right or needs adjustments. But right now I have no idea which ones are completely wrong or need fixing.

My request: Roon should be able to tell me how confident it is on its metadata.

Since the matches are based on existing metadata and folder/file names, file count, etc, it shouldn’t be too difficult for Roon to come up with an heuristics which could let me know which albums probably need my attention first.

For example, Roon would warn me of:

  • a ripped unidentified CD;
  • an identified album with the wrong number of tracks;
  • a 2-disk album for which only one of the disks were found
  • etc.
