They were a new band for me. Also, I emailed Kvaen about the lack of release on BC of their album on Friday, it seems itā€™s with their label, I think they must have forgotten to press GO on Friday before they left work. Lessen learned, I will just buy an album when itā€™s released in future.

I was barely a teenager when Chaos A.D. came out and I never gave the first two albums a chance because of the poor production. The second one probably sounded ok on a Walkman though. These now sound great to me, especially the drums and guitars. Max always loved his reverb, and itā€™s over the top here, but fits the atmosphere of the muffled mix of the original I think. Iā€™m enjoying them a lot - and now wish Carcass would do the same with their first two.

Same here. I started to like Sepultura around 1990 and ā€œBeneath The Remainsā€ was the reason for that. Still my favourite release of the band. I listened to ā€œSchizophreniaā€ and ā€œMorbid Visionsā€ only on rare occasions because a friend owned vinyl copies of both albumsā€¦

Waaay over the top for meā€¦ I totally donā€™t like it.
A shame because the re-recorded music is very nice.

I agree with this statement, to me either you prefer the original or the rerecording but at least there are options here. Yes, Carcass should do the same!

Getting back from vacation and catching up on some music, this is awesome and is going into the Bandcamp wish list. I love the sound of the guitars here, so nasty :metal:
