I’m using a brand new Microsoft Surface running Windows 11 25H2. I can’t reliably enter new tags in the dialog box. When using as a tablet I can’t enter text at all, no cursor. When I snap on the keyboard if I use Tab to get to the dialog box (as opposed to putting pointer in the box, or touching the box) it will enter text, but it’s weird. No cursor appears, and after typing no text appears for 5-10 seconds, then it appears.
If this is a Qualcomm Snapdragon based Microsoft Surface (as most models are now), be aware that Roon currently has no official support for Windows on ARM.

Hi, not exactly the same issue but may be related. On Surface Pro 11 intel when trying to type text into any field the touch keyboard disappears immediately after tapping inside the field. The solution is to first make sure the touch keyboard icon appears in your taskbar (switch on in taskbar settings), then after tapping in the field use the keyboard icon in the taskbar to bring the touch keyboard back. Personally I do not have any issues with the physical keyboard. I’m using Roon 2.65, Windows 11 Pro 25H2. In general touch keyboard is not great in Win 11, doesn’t work well with explorer.
No - your issue is different to the “invisible text” issue. That is caused by the Windows emulation for Snapdragon ARM chips failing to render text properly.
There’s a ticket in for this to be looked at:
