I would like Roon to add to the radio database Midvliet FM with the adres from www.midvliet.nl?

Hello @audion1966 , I’ve added Midvliet FM for you, please check if ok.

(If the search doesn’t work yet - it takes a while to populate - you’ll find it in liveradio > locations > Netherlands > South Holland )

I’ve tried it, but still it says ‘can’t be played’ not available. What now?

Yes, all the other stations play.

Hmm, try rebooting? Clearing DNS cache?
There shouldn’t be any geo-restrictions, but where are you?
What is your server running on?

I am in the Netherlands, and my system runs on Roon Rock, NUC i7. I can see the possibility of playing mp3, but as soon as I start, a few moments later it says can’t play the station?

I think I see the problem…

I’ve just tried again with a production version of Roon and it fails to play. I have been using early access before.

The format of the stream URL is one that can cause Roon problems and this seems to have been fixed in the latest early access release.

I don’t know when the next production release is due but I expect that to have the fix.

Please be patient…

I’ve just tried the latest production and it works fine.

I’ve altered the stream to use http rather than https which has solved an issue in the past. Try that.

Can you play

in a browser?

In a browser this plays, but not in Roon though.

No need to try adding a URL via my live radio - I’ve changed the URL in the database. Presumably that still doesn’t work?

As the browser works, then it’s not the DNS.

If still stuck, we’ll need to open a thread in support.

I can. But if I paste that address in Roon, it can’t play.

Now, in the past it worked fine. I am frustrated it doesn’t do anymore. Why???
