Can I take the drive out of my old NUC6i5SY and insert it into a new NUC11PAHi7 or do I have to format a new drive and reinstall ROCK

I’m assuming you’re referring to the PCIe M.2 drive used for Roon OS. Since you are moving from a sixth to eleventh generation NUC, you’ll need to reinstall because the new NUC doesn’t support legacy boot.
