Is Roon Server running?
· No, Roon Server is not running.
For Roon connectivity to work properly, both Roon Server and Roon Remote need to be turned on.
· I can't turn on Roon Server, I need help.
Describe the issue
I have already located and backed up my existing Roon database (12 GB).
I would like to migrate from the deprecated RoonOnNAS QPKG to the official Docker installation without losing my library, playlists and history.
During startup the current installation fails with:
GLIBCXX_3.4.21 not found.
Describe your network setup
My Roon Server runs on a QNAP TVS-872XT (Intel Core i5, 16 GB RAM) connected to my home network via wired Gigabit Ethernet. My Roon Remote runs on an Apple iMac Retina 5K 27-inch (Late 2014) with macOS 11 Big Sur, also connected to the same network via wired Gigabit Ethernet. My home router is a Sky WiFi modem/router. Both the QNAP NAS and the iMac are connected directly to the Sky WiFi router using Ethernet cables. No Wi-Fi extenders, mesh systems, VPNs, or managed network switches are involved. The music library is stored locally on the QNAP NAS. The issue is not related to network connectivity. It started immediately after updating Roon Server to 2.70 (build 1671). The server no longer starts and exits with the following error: GLIBCXX_3.4.21 not found I have verified via SSH that no Roon Server process is running, and I have created and verified a complete backup of my existing Roon database (approximately 12 GB).
