Minimum Roon volume step accuracy (1/100) does not agree with Moon 390 precission (0.5/100)

Description of Issue

Roon can’t change volume with the same accuracy than Moon 390 can. Moon 390 has steps of 0.5 from 0 to 100. Roon accuracy step is 1, from 0 to 100.

I don’t know how to solve this issue if that is possible with present Roon OS 2.0.

I just checked my 390 using my iPad and you’re right. I’m seeing full 1.0 steps instead of the usual 0.5.
I’m pretty sure that it was 0.5 in previous versions of Roon.
My Roon core is on ROCK NUC and latest version.

btw, I checked volume control using the Moon Mind app and it controls volume in 0.5 steps.

Hi @MDuvison,

Did the situation not manifest the same prior to 2.0?

It’s my understanding that Roon can only do increments of 1. We allow our partners to set a scale (ie 0-100 or 0-70) and we have them code things to match our volume stepping when the device communicates.
