I was really surprized to see that a passive cooled Minix Z300 with Windows 11 Pro is fast enough to act as a Roon Server using DSD256 conversion with Sigma Delta modulator “7th order(clans)”.
Processing speed is 1.8x with one cpu and 2.9x with multiple cpu’s. Should i choose 1 cpu? Fast enough?
It is an N300 which makes it easily as capable as an A Rev. Nucleus+. Its single core performance is within 5% of the Nucleus while being way more efficient.

1 is the minimum with no redundancy. I’ve used 1.2 quite happily but I think 1.5 is a good place to be. So one core is fine for you.
