Description of Issue

The are number of element that I see in the Tidal application, but that cannot be found in Roon.

There is plenty of variation of this problem that has been reported in the forum over the years and no solution is working well. It seems this is the very core of Roon features and it disappointing to see this not being fixed for good years ago.

Precision: The albums/tracks that causes problem are not new and waiting 24 hours or restart Roon is not doing any good,

I’m looking for a way to reset/synchronize my Roon library from Tidal - is there a way do do this?

Thanks,

Martin

Examples would help

On example is Artist Charlotte Cardin.

In Tidal I see the album Phoenix Deluxe and 4 singles released in 2023 and in Roon, only one signgle is available, and not the album.

You sure the “Phoenix Deluxe” is not under the Versions tab of the “Phoenix” album?

I also see 6 singles from 2023:

Settings/ Services / Tidal (Edit) / “Sync Library Now” in blue text.

Suedkiez - Thank you so much. That was it, it wa under the versions. A bit counter-intuitive as it is not the same album, but I can see the logic nevertheless.

And the singles were n the next page…

@Rugby - I don’t have this "Synch Library Now’ option. I only have Logout and Done. I tried to logout/longin but it didn’t help as the album was hidden in the Versions. Thanks anyway!

If you don’t then something is wrong. Keep in mind it is not a button like logout and done it is the clickable blue text that says "Synch Library Now’ as shown below…

It makes sense to me  because as far as I can tell it’s the same tracklist plus bonus tracks? Anyway, if I add both to my library, they both appear separately in the My Album view, even though I have automatic version grouping enabled:

I guess this is what you prefer?

Then if I go to the Versions tab again, they both appear but still separated (“also in your library”). It’s then possible to “Group all” (or select both and click “group” in the edit menu) …

and after this they appear just as one under My Albums. (Which one can be decided by making one of them the primary version under Versions)

If you always want versions ungrouped instead, you can change this in Roon Settings > General > Show Hidden Tracks and Albums > Yes. Versions will then appear separately in My Albums
