Mismatch between tracks during album identification

not sure where to put this, but I observe an odd behaviour when trying to identify Vladimir Horowitz - The Original Jacket Collection. When clicking on identify I get the message that 5 tracks are differing.

Roon reports the following tracks not matching

But if I check CD 70 on my album page I see this:

Now this looks to me exactly how it’s supposed to be, but why the heck does Roon complain about it? Track 11 from the metadata is matched to track 5 of my files and the correct track 11 is ignored.

I have rescanned my library but no no effect. I have seen mismatches due to incorrect track lengths but not yet mismatches like this.

Is the track numbering correct for disc 70 in your file tags? Worth checking.

I do think so

Thanks Klaus. I don’t know why that’s happening and it might be really difficult to find out why given the size of the album.

Did Roon identify it automatically or not?
If it did, presumably you were re-identifying it. Did you just go ahead and accept the results from the (re-)identification or cancel?

@joel

The album was not automatically identified. That’s why I triggered the identification and Roon came back with this strange track matching…

Hi @Klaus_Kammerer1. The fact that you appear to have one “extra” track than our metadata is suspicious. Something further up the track listing appears to have messed up Roon’s automatic track matching algorithm.

Please can you try re-identifying and get back to me with a screenshot of where the mismatch starts? If it does indeed start at disc 70 track 11, I wonder if you have a duplicate of track #5?
