I am trying Roon and Audinirvana Origin on my local library. I have tried all settings on album art in Roon it always misses artwork. Audinrvana no problem. 2014 Mac Pro 12 core 32 g, d500, Focusrite Clarett. Music on 250 g Lexmark.
Did you try resetting the image cache? Maybe it resolves itself. It’s in Settings > Setup

Do you embed your artwork in the Music files and/or have you separate artwork files (e.g. Cover.jpg or Folder.jpg)?
Are the artwork files present or is the embedding a problem?
They are as downloaded from Apple or Hi-Res Music.
It’s worth examining your folders & files to establish if there is an issue with them. It should only take a few minutes to check a few of the artless albums. Online music sources are pretty reliable but not perfect.
