Description of Issue
After upgrading Core (Linux) to build 1244, and my two Android Remotes to build 1242 on March 31st, my Home page/view/tab is not showing New Releases any more. Comparing to a friend’s view, Daily Mixes is also missing, though I’m mostly interested in getting the New Releases back. Everything else seems to work as I’d expect it to.
At first, I thought it might take a few days, or possibly come back the next Friday, but as that did not fix it, I started to look into it a bit more. Since both Remotes behave the same way (and also a Roon client on MacOS, too), I figured it is likely either the backend or my Core. Restarting the roonserver service, or even rebooting the server did not change anything.
Before trying to re-install the Core and then restore from backups, I was looking around the directory structure, and found RoonServer/Logs. Looking at the latest log file from around the time I accessed the Home view, I noticed the following:
04/09 09:58:32 Debug: [easyhttp] [16132] GET to https://api.roonlabs.net/discover/1/profiles/[redacted from this post]/albums/newv3?c=tidal-fi&textSources=Rovi-albums:en,Wikipedia:en,Rovi-artists:en,Rovi-compositions:en returned after 211 ms, status code: 500
In total, there were 6 different API calls that got the HTTP/500 response. This lead me to believe that the issue is likely with the Roon’s backend and not my core (unless the Core is now using an incorrect profile ID, etc). Also, looking at the API calls, I realized I was missing more stuff than I remembered.
I’m guessing you should be able to map my name and Roon account to the profile ID, but if not, let me know and I can provide additional details.
I’d very much appreciate it if you could fix (or help me fix) the issue so that I again get access to the New Releases feature. Thank you!
