Your initial screenshot looks like the Artist → more (…) menu dropdown.
Just for due diligence, can you please share a screenshot of the actual Play Now dropdown menu?
What about if you select a drop (right-click) and open the Selected Play Now menu?

Oh you’re right! I was clicking the 3 dots. I see Start Radio now.
However, should the Daily Mixes also be available? That’s the other piece that disappeared when I canceled Tidal and would love to get those back. Thought they might be connected to the Radio functionality but maybe not?

Could you please clarify if you are referring to the “Daily Mixes” that were previously generated by Tidal, or the “Daily Mixes” generated by Roon?
Since you mentioned these disappeared when you canceled your Tidal subscription, it would be very helpful if you could upload a screenshot showing where these were located or what you see now. This will help us confirm if these were third-party playlists synced from your Tidal account or a feature within Roon.

The Roon Daily Mixes widget is usually between Listen Later and Recent Listening; do you not see this widget anywhere on the home screen if you scroll around?
Is this screenshot from the same Mac you’re using to host Roon Server? Logs from that machine show Roon (the remote app, not the server) hasn’t been restarted in several days. Try restarting both Roon Server and the Roon app to refresh the feed and let us know if that helps.

No, this is from my main listening desktop machine. Server is a mac mini. This has been an issue since I canceled Tidal months ago and I’ve restarted both several times over the last few months. Still nothing. See scrolling image below:
Is there a place where the widget can be enabled / disabled that I may have turned off somewhere?

Very sorry that we missed this detail earlier: you cancelled Tidal.
When your library is local-content only, Roon Daily Mixes don’t have sufficient catalogue content to rely on Valence, and instead adopt an older, more central algorithmic discovery model.
There’s a hot discussion regarding this issue and some commentary from the Roon founders in the thread below. But at this time, inclusion of Roon Daily Mixes without a streaming service is a feature request:

A local recommendation engine like you’re describing is something we would build if we could. But the data topology works against Roon here: even with a large library, there’s simply too sparse a data pool for Roon recommendations to work in the same way that they do when they have global catalog access to an enabled streaming service. The available catalog is orders of magnitude smaller.
To keep recommendations “fresh,” Valence needs to step from a seed track/album/artist into musical catalog territory you’ve never touched. When it only has a local library to pick from, all the available content is something you’ve already added yourself. Roon falls back on its older recommendation algorithm when no streaming is available because the Roon founders realized it still outperforms any hypothetical local-only version of Valence that would be starved of necessary data.
We hope that helps add a little context. We really do encourage you to add your voice/vote to the feature request, as our team will ingest these reports in earnest.
