I added quite many whole albums to my library from Qobuz where I had only few songs in already on my library. Then I noticed that even I added (album) to my library songs did not appear to album there.
I have used in past a lot of streaming services and I had habit to add just songs what I hear to liked. I did not save/like whole album. Now when I have switched to use Roon and actually buying albums I had massive amount of albums having only one or two songs on library.
This happens when single song is liked on Qobuz and then album does get added to your Roon library having only that one (of few) song. Rest of the album songs do not get added…
Then it does tell you “whole album available on Qobuz” (or similar message) and there you can see all songs of that album.
What I now did was I did go all those albums trough (hundreds of them…) and added those “from Qobuz” (using Roon UI) to my library to have whole albums there.
It did work at the beginning well without any issues. Then it stopped… when I added plus sign songs did not get added to my Roon library album. Those where visible only on Qobuz.
What I did notice that when looking from services Qobuz connection was constantly saying that it is syncing. It did do that over 24 hours and not songs added to albums in Roon library.
Today I did reboot my server (Debian server running Roon) and then all songs where added to my library and sync to Qobuz was successful.
So it seems that it did do changes to Qobuz, but it just did not sycn that info to Roon library anymore suddenly.
My issue is resolved, but obviously there is some bug or misbehavior.
Thanks for the report. If you notice the issue occur again, can you please let us know the track/album that is failing to appear, so that we can try to track it down in your logging via diagnostics?
If you’re able to share a screenshot, that could be particularly helpful. Also, instead of rebooting, I am curious to know if going to Roon Settings → Services → Qobuz (Edit) → Sync library now achieves the same behavior. Let us know, thanks!
Actually I did do that first. When I opened that it show me that sync is constantly running. No error or what so ever.
I think only option to choose there was to disconnect. So I did not do that.
I did reboot of server as I needed to apply some updates and it happened to fix issue at the same time.
What I did notice that it started sync once server come up and it took longer than usual… so it most likely processed those remaining “adding album”.
What I did start to thing that Roon may have tried to do it constantly but like some Qobuz API limit was refusing connection. Once it had moment of pause during reboot it did started to accept request again. This is just a wild guess and do not have any evidence of this.
I do not have screenshots when issue was on… but I can mimic situation to get screenshots if you like.
I have had no issues since so I cant actually replicate issue itself, but can “construct” situation to better explaining if you like.
Hi @Jesse_Lahtela,
Thanks for giving us those details on the steps you tried.
That could be helpful if it’s not too much of a hassle. But if recreating the issue means adding or removing a lot of albums from your library, it’s probably not worth the trouble—especially now that the problem seems to have resolved.
As @noris mentioned, if the issue returns, please let us know which specific tracks or albums are missing. We’ll be ready to help.
