· When I choose "library" my Qobuz favorites are included with my HDD storage library. How do I disentangle them? To me library means my library not Qobuz favorites.
That’s how Roon works. Streaming service album favorites are automatically part of the library. (The unification of albums regardless of source is actually one of the most prominent features).
You can go to Focus and select a storage location to decide what you want to see.
Thanks very much for your reply. But when I go to the My Albums page and click on focus for the drop down menu I don’t see what you see. Here’s a screenshot. Let me know what I’m doing wrong.
My picture was from the phone, so it looks a bit different. Note the little arrows in your screenshot - you can scroll this panel left and right (only toward the right in your screenshot because you are already on the leftmost page)
You can also open the category menus that are indicated by the little arrows (but you can click anywhere in the category heading to open them), which allows you to pin the category to the first panel, and for some categories you can choose if the criteria should be Match Any or Match All if you choose more than one item, e.g., Genres or Performers):
Finally, if you choose a criteria, it is displayed as a purple tag meaning that this is now the selection (in the following screenshot, „show albums from genre Pop/Rock“):
I’ve made some progress but the storage location option only exists under artists and composers. But I want to see my ripped files by album. I do not sort by other categories. Please help me, if you can, getting a clean view of my stored “albums” on Roon. Thanks for your help.
That’s why I pointed out that you can scroll the panel left/right. Glad you found it.
There are lots of Focus options and you can create very powerful queries this way. (Focus also exists on other pages like My Artists, each artist’s Discography, etc.)
Any view that is created by Focus criteria and/or additional options like Tags can be saved as a bookmark.
