It’s the usual, well known problem: when there exist 2 (or more) artists with the same name, roon does not match the file tags (of an album) with its own metadata for that album, but adds a second (wrong) artist in the credits.
i add that in general roon metadata are incomplete (they are 80% only at album level, and not at track level). that’s why … file tagging is really unavoidable…
as this is really a BUG, reported many many many times, i’d like to receive any sort of comment or answer by someone in the @staff @support.
