Hi , I have roon core installed on my windows pc and it seems that if the PC is idle then the roon remote on my android phone loses connection and I have to ‘wake up’ the PC to reconnect the mobile app…
anybody have experience similar to this?|
That sounds like a Windows setting, have you got the power settings putting the PC to sleep after x minutes of inactivity
That’s a common default on a laptop to save battery. Also check that your HDD. Don’t go to sleep, they will also need to wake up causing a connection delay
thanks mike - i suspect that is the issue - matter of finding the appropriate setting and changing
Window Key > Settings > System > Power & Sleep
