As the release notes say, the apps have been submitted to the stores, up to Google and apple how quickly they release them.
You need core and app on the same level to see timer.
Ged is correct — For iOS there is a certification process that can take some time to complete after a release goes live. You should see version 610 available for iOS soon. Apologies for any inconvenience!
