More “sort by“ options

I am a classical boxset collector who carefully tags the files and import every single disc of a set because of cover art and detailed description and the limited support of bigger boxes withon Roon. Every CD get the right number in the tagging field VERSION (e.g. CD12). If I would import a boxset at once there would be a mess of disorganized discs. The current solution is to import disc by disc and sort by import date. This is a hard and not so smart work.

I had read some other suggestions about the sort by feature. Please give us a much more enhanced possibility to sort the music in Roon. In my opionion there could be a sort by feature of nearly every tag that Roon can read. This should includ the custom tags like VERSION as well.

Agree. I might suggest a sort builder function that allows compound sort terms taken from any tag that is often populated in Roon. The expression should accomodate at least 3 terms. The feature should allow saving of at least 3 sort expressions, each with a name. The expressions would be assignable to 1 or (preferably) any of the drop-down sort lists in “My Library”
